A Cycle

It is cycle or a path where the data goes in a computer. It shows how the different part of the hardware works.

Farewell Computer Science 1

First of all, i want to thank our teacher for teaching us the things and some facts that he know in computer science. Thank you for giving us experiences about computer science.
It was a great journey being with you.

Computer Science 1 is one of the best subjects. It taught me many new things. I even learned how to create a virus because of advance studying. Computer Science talks about technology which is needed to be improved. It will help our country to be better. Even if i am not good in computer I will try my best to excel in this subject.

A Complicated Cycle

Honestly I didn't understand this. Some of the terms is still unfamiliar to me.

The worst time of my life in Pisay.

When I got sick I felt very frustrated, as I said I should always be present. The time when I was absent our topic was repairing hardware which I want to experience. They said it was done by group, by pair? I don't have any idea because I was absent. It was a big loss, I didn't learn anything.

about software

A chart again by: Tom Jordan Secundo
The two types of Software:
  • system software
    • the one in charge in managing, controlling and maintaining computer resources.
  • application software
    • designed and created to perform specific personal, business, scientific processing tasks.

Mainframe Computer

A very large and expensive computer capable of supporting hundreds, or even thousands of users simultaneously. In the hierarchy that starts with a simple microprocessor (in watches, for example) at the bottom and moves to supercomputers at the top, mainframes are just below supercomputers. In some ways, mainframes are more powerful than supercomputers because they support more simultaneous programs. But supercomputers can execute a single program faster than a mainframe. The distinction between small mainframes and minicomputers is vague.

Mini Computer

A midsize computer. In size and power, minicomputers lie between workstations and mainframes. In the past decade, the distinction between large minicomputers and small mainframes has blurred, however, as has the distinction between small minicomputers and workstations. But in general, a minicomputer is a multiprocessing system capable of supporting from 4 to about 200 users simultaneously.
