Charts
There are different charts. We were taught the pie chart column chart, line chart, bar charts and area charts. It represents different kinds of information. Some are comparisons and some are representations of data in different ways. There was also a practical exam for this topic. It is not so hard it was just easy.

Macros
We learned many things
about macros. There was a practical exam about macros. In making some macros
you only need to be careful because if not careful and you might press some
keys that are not needed in the macros which you are going to make. It will result
to a different or can be a bad result.
Different Reference Types
There
are three different reference types. First is relative then absolute and the
mixed. These three have different purposes. It has unique characteristics. A
dollar sign is use to complete the actions of the absolute and mixed references.
Cell Reference
We discussed
many things about Cell Reference because it is one of the basic things to know
to make excel easier to be used and just like a step to be more advanced in
excel. Something about “cell and range” was discussed, it can be known by many
users of excel because people with common sense can absolutely recognize these
ranges of cells. We were also taught by the different cool tips but the
reference types are more important. If you know the difference of the reference
types it will make your using of excel easier, auto fill is the thing involved
in this.
Logical Operations
Conditional Formatting
This seems hard because it's "Conditional" but it wasn't
that hard than I expected. It's just a right term for "designing a
cell" or "making a cell more awesome". I think that conditional
formatting is just an introduction to the more advanced Microsoft excel. It is
just easy to understand you can even learn this in minutes. Only a few things are
to learn at conditional formatting but there are already some formulas to use.
Functions and Formulas
So this is one of the most complicated things to learn in Microsoft
Excel. It gave me a hard time in the activities. Good thing that the time given
to us was long enough to finish the given activities. Formulas are not hard it
just needs time because it just need common sense and only memorizing the
operators are important but function is also not hard it just need time to
complete it, functions are long even if for only simple things.
“Microsoft Excel”
Learning Microsoft Excel, how long will it take?
I think it will take for some
few days to learn this.
Trying to understand excel
just for my sake.
Even if this is complicated I’m
only at ease.
Worksheet is the page where
you work on.
Column, used to identify the
cells position.
This is only the start known
as “the introduction”.
But this is so complicated
just like fraction.

Spreadsheets for Data Analysis
We were introduce further to Microsoft Excel.
"Spreadsheets for Data Analysis" this was our topic for this quarter.
Though Microsoft excel is a basic topic to learn in Computer Science, I
realized that this is important to be explored further because this is very
useful. At first I thought that Microsoft Excel is not a complicated thing to
be learned but it wasn't that easy. When Excel was taught to us some of things
that was discussed were new to me. Some tips or easier ways are taught to us on
how to manage Excel.
